New Ways to Tell the Brain Food Story

We have a great team in marketing and communications. Our new director, Dr. Sheryl Haydel, has given us a new burst of creativity to pair with a strong team. Once of the ways you can see it is with the recap of the Brain Food lectures.

The website has a recap of each lecture- a short write up.

But we’re also doing short video recaps. This video is a clip from Issa Rae’s visit where we had 850+ on the inside, and at least another 150+ trying to get in, peek through the windows, etc.

Of course it is great getting local TV coverage as well.

Last week we hosted Malcolm Nance, an MSNBC terrorism expert. It was fascinating, and especially with the heightened rhetoric, I am more aware of how bad a nuclear war would be with North Korea.

Malcolm was TERRIFIC with the students! Very personable and engaging. And I am sure they were excited being with him- the only brother I have met with a degree in Arabic! Catch him on TV.

You owe it to yourself to visit Dillard for at least one Brain Food- a semester. And for those out of town, we are doing Facebook live events as well.
