If you would have told me that a week after commencement, we would still have news stories written about a commencement that had no speaker, I would have said you’re lying. I mean, we’ve had Michelle, Denzel, Chance and Janelle, and none of them kept getting news a full week after or viral stories. They were big stories, but none of them had the impact of this guy.

Yep, Ashton decided to be born the day his mom was supposed to walk down the Avenue of Oaks. So, I decided that I would go give her the degree at the hospital. And just like most family members who holler and scream when we call names, Easton learned to do the same.
