ACBSP Accredited!
I have been delinquent in my Medium posts but will make sure I catch up during the summer. So let me get back into the swing by sharing some major news. Our college of business was notified recently that “the Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners (of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs) met on April 26–27, 2019 and voted to grant full accreditation…” This is for a 10 year period.
This is the first time in the history of Dillard that we have obtained a specialized accreditation for business. ACBSP has 1,200 member institutions in over 60 countries. This was a great win for the university during our sesquicentennial.
Congrats to our interim dean Dr. Richard Igwike. He also shared that Dr. Alicia Cooper was instrumental in this project.
